BILL WANG, PRESIDENT

Bill has over 20 years of experience with softgels manufacturing. After earning his MBA from Cal State San Bernardino, Bill started his career as a product manager at a privately owned softgel manufacturing company and eventually became the company's general manager. He and United Pharma's co-founders and investors saw an opportunity for growth within the softgel industry and incorporated United Pharma in 2006. In his spare time, Bill enjoys reading, playing golf and spending time with his family especially his granddaughter.

MELANIE KELLY, Human Resources MANAGER

Melanie has over 15 years experience in Human Resources working in electronics manufacturing. She earned her BA Degree in Speech Communication at Cal State Fullerton. She also has a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of California, Irvine. In addition to her schooling, Melanie has two Professional Human Resources Certifications. She has a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), as well as a Society for Human Resources Management-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Melanie enjoys spending time with family and with her cocker spaniel, Bart.

Hong Dang, Accounting Manager

Hong has over 18 years of experience doing accounting for distributors and manufacturers. She earned her Bachelor's Degree at Cal State Fullerton. In her spare time, Hong enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves to travel, especially taking Disney cruises and visiting various Disney parks all around the world.

Sherry Pang, Quality Control Manager

Sherry has been with United Pharma LLC since 2017 and has 12 years of experience with testing and quality control of dietary supplements. She completed her BS in biochemistry from UC Los Angeles. Sherry enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.

in memoriam - Rich Miller, VP of Business Development

Richard Miller joined United Pharma in November 2014. Rich earned a BS in Management Science from Kean University. He is survived by his wife Kathi and missed by the team.

KAMAL KHO, National SALES MANAGER

Kamal came to United Pharma in 2018 and was promoted to QA Manager. In January of 2024, Kamal was promoted to National Sales Manager. He has over 13 years of QA/QC experience in Food and Dietary Supplement industry. Originally living in Malaysia, he decided to moved to the States and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology minoring in Chemistry from California State University Pomona. He’s also a Preventive Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) and holds certificates from AIB International & International HACCP Alliance for Food Quality System, HACCP, FSVP, Food Defense and GMP. Kamal balanced his work life by doing what he loves through snowboarding, gardening, hiking, raising chickens as well as Escape Rooms!

Thanh Huynh, Production Manager

Thanh has over 13 years of experience in Softgel Manufacturing, experienced in the field of Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, and Vegetarian Softgel manufacturing. She earned her BA Degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.  In her spare time, Thanh enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys making her own perfume and diffuser.
